PRKI was born from lived experience—specifically the unique journey of growing up as a gay man navigating shame, identity, and systemic invisibility. That’s why much of our work centers the emotional, spiritual, and sexual lives of gay and queer men.
That said, our vision is inclusive. We’re building a growing network of contributors, guides, and partners—including lesbian, bi, and trans voices—who help expand our offerings and hold space for the full spectrum of LGBTQ+ life.

A psychology-based group for LGBTQ+ individuals ready to reconnect with themselves.
This group is for anyone who’s felt like they’re too much, not enough, or stuck in patterns they can’t explain. You might be struggling with emotional numbness, overthinking, people-pleasing, self-abandonment, or shame that shows up in your relationships, identity, or inner voice.
This space blends psychology, emotional education, and lived LGBTQ+ experience.
Shame is the silent epidemic that distorts how gay men see themselves, connect with others, and care for their health. It keeps you trapped in cycles of disconnection, silence, and self-abandonment — but it’s time to break the cycle.
How Shame Limits Daily Life:
-
Health: Gay men are often caught in cycles of sex as a substitute for connection, while lesbians face higher risks of undiagnosed health issues due to fear or misinformation.
-
Connection: Shame convinces you that you’re unworthy of real love, keeping gay men on the DL
-
Visibility: 65% of LGBTQ+ individuals avoid healthcare out of fear of judgment and discrimination.
-
Family: Family rejection increases suicide risk by 8x, forcing many to confrom to be loved, not living truthfully.
